Bedrooms and Closets

For closets, remove about half the contents to make them look spacious. Organize what remains neatly. Buyers will open closets, and a packed closet makes the storage look inadequate.

Depersonalizing is one of the hardest steps for sellers, but it is essential. Buyers need to imagine their own life in the home, not see yours. Pack away the personal items now, and you will be ahead of the game when it is time to move.
