The aggregate limit is the maximum amount your homeowners insurance policy will pay for all claims combined during a single policy period, typically one year. On a standard HO-3 policy, the aggregate limit is usually equal to your dwelling coverage amount. Once claims payments reach that limit, no further claims are covered for the remainder of the policy term.
